Alison Smithson

At street level, and with independent access to the Plaça del Firal, the old village threshing floor, the Alison is sober and independent. Its location, on the first floor and facing northwest, makes it especially cool in summer. One of its two unique windows occupies the ventilation shaft of the bakery oven that existed there decades ago. It is adjacent to the common areas of the house.
