Environment

Corçà is located in the heart of the Baix Empordà, in an area known as l'Empordanet. Delimited by the remains of the old medieval wall and the church, the old town of Corçà offers a wide range of valuable architectural elements: from the imposing bell tower of the church of Sant Julià to the doors, windows and gates of the wall that show inscriptions on the lintels, mainly from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. In addition, Corçà also treasures the architectural heritage of its remarkable Indian past.

Beyond the town, the environment offers a wide variety of activities of all kinds. Cultural, such as visits to the castle of Montgrí or the Iberian settlement of Ullastret; nature-related, exploring the massif of Les Gavarres or the beaches of the Costa Brava, on foot or by bicycle; or simply of delight, discovering the landscapes, towns and local products and crafts that the most harmonious Empordanet offers.
